Smartphone brand Xiaomi has unveiled a new range of high-performance laptop models in China. The company has launched its first-ever laptop series “Mi Notebook 14 & M Notebook 15” in India on June 11, 2020, it is expected that the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 will also be launched in India soon. The all-new Mi Notebook Pro 15 boasts a 3.2k display with support for a 90Hz high refresh-rate, 4.3mm narrow frame and 89.1% screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 is powered by Intel’s 11th Gen CPU with Intel Iris Xe graphics. Some variants will also be coupled with up to Nvidia GeForce MX450 (2GB GDDR5) graphics and up to 16GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM. The Mi Notebook Pro 15 is backed by a large 70WHr battery that is rated to deliver 12 hours of backup on a single charge. Moreover, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 laptop comes bundled with a 100W USB Type-C power adapter that can charge the laptop from flat 0 to 50% in just 35 minutes. Apart from all of this, the laptop has a fingerprint sensor built into the power button, an in-built camera, and a large touchpad. It runs Windows 10, built-in Xiaomi AI assistant for voice control, and pre-installed MIUI+ software for seamless multitasking and file sharing across users’ laptop and smartphone.

As of now, the Mi Notebook Pro 15 laptops are only available in China with the name “Redmibook Pro 15” and there is no official confirmation on whether the laptop will launch in India or not. It’s high-resolution 3.2K display boasts a 90 Hz refresh rate that allows everything to get smoother and free of shadows. The pixel density in this laptop is 3 times that of the ordinary FHD screen and the peak brightness of 300 nits makes everything clearer and brighter. Possibly, this is the best display you can find on any laptop at this price point. 

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 is powered by Intel’s latest Tiger Lake Core i7 11th Gen processor and powerful integrated graphics based on Intel’s new Xe architecture and optional NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPUs allows you to seamlessly run multiple applications at once. With 512 GB of high-speed PCIe SSD storage on top of up to 16 GB DDR4 dual-channel RAM ensures every task loads quickly. 

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 sports a full-size three levels white backlit keyboard that allows you to adjust the keyboard brightness in three levels—Off, Bright and Brighter. The keyword, however, has 1.5mm of key travel. It is paired with a large trackpad that enables you a large gesture area and a fingerprint sensor-integrated power button for higher security. 

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 is backed by a large 70 Whr battery that is rated to deliver 12 hours of backup on a single charge. The laptop comes bundled with a 100W USB Type-C power adapter that can charge the laptop from flat 0 to 50% in just 35 minutes. This laptop offers a plethora of connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Thunderbolt 4, USB Type-C, USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There are also dual stereo speakers along with DTS Audio. Lastly, Mi Notebook Pro 15 measures 350.1x242.3x17.9mm and weighs 1.79 kilograms.

The Mi Notebook Pro 15 has already been launched in China on 25th February by the name of Redmi Notebook Pro 15. It is to be expected that this laptop will soon be released in the Indian market. However, there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi India, so you have to wait a little bit to get your hands on the all-new Mi Notebook Pro 15 laptop. Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro 15 features three variants. The Core i5 variant with Intel Xe graphics is priced at 4,999 Yuan (roughly Rs 56,337). The Core i5 variant with Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics is priced at 5,499 Yuan (roughly Rs 61,972). The only i7 variant which features Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics is priced at 6,299 Yuan (roughly Rs 70,988).
