Xiaomi, on its official Twitter account, released a teaser confirming Mi Note 10, touted as the global variant of Mi CC9 Pro would be launched in Madrid, Spain on November 6. "Welcome to the new era of smartphone cameras! Join our event to reveal the world's first 108MP Penta camera. Live stream available, stay tuned!" the company tweeted.

The main highlight of the smartphone is a Penta lens camera setup on its rear. After Nokia 9 Pure, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the second smartphone with five lenses. The phone sports an AMOLED screen, the latest Snapdragon 730G processor, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage, and a beefy 5170 mAh battery with a fast charging support system.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 World’s First 108MP Penta Camera - A new perspective with every shot

After a 64-megapixel camera sensor on Mi Note 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is equipped with 108-megapixel primary camera. In addition to this, there are four other camera sensors on its rear, which means a total of five cameras or Penta camera setup. The phone camera setup comprises a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture and four-axis OIS (optical image stabilisation), a 12-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.0 aperture for portrait shots, and a 5-megapixel tertiary camera with 50x zoom. There is also a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel camera for Super Macro shots with a focal length of up to 2 cms. The five cameras are aligned on the back aligned vertically in a single line to the left side of the phone, based on the images shared by the company. On the front, the phone sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone features 4K video recording, 960fps slow-mo videos, portrait mode, and a dedicated night mode.

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is rumored to launch with a gorgeous 6.47 Inch OLED display with a waterdrop notch. The screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display also supports HDR10+ and features an eye protection mode. The phone features an ultra-thin optical under-display fingerprint scanner, which is more accurate and faster than the other Mi smartphones.

All new Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Processor powers Xiaomi Mi Note 10

Rumors and leaks suggest that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Note 10 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G (8nm) processor. This is for the first time Xiaomi is using this chipset in its smartphone. The Snapdragon 730G is the latest midrange chipset that brings select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features and an additional 15% graphics boost over Snapdragon 730 for a more powerful gaming experience. This is an 8nm chipset that features 2x 2.2GHz (Kryo 470 Gold), and 6x 1.8GHz (Kryo 470 Silver) cores. It has a higher clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. 

The Mi Note 10 base model is coupled with 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The other two variants include 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage capacity respectively. 

Mi Note 10 Gigantic Battery with Fast Charging Technology

In terms of battery, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is powered by a Non-removable Li-Po 5270 mAh battery. Also, the phone comes bundled with a 30W fast charging technology. The company announced that the 30W fast charger charges its 5260mAh high-capacity battery to 100% under 65 minutes.  

Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Sensors & Connectivity Options

The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM cards. Connectivity options on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 include Wi-Fi Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). If we talk about sensors, it includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass or magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor (under display).
