Recently, the Redmi Note 8 was launched in China and priced at RMB 999 (roughly Rs. 10,000) for the base 4GB of RAM + 64GB storage capacity model, RMB 1199 (roughly Rs. 12,000) for the 6GB of RAM + 64GB of internal memory variant, and RMB 1399 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for the 6GB + 128GB version.

Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Jain recent tweet reveals that the India launch of the Xiaomi Note 8 series smartphones will take time. The Redmi Note 8 phone will launch in the Indian market after eight weeks, which is at the end of October. It is confirmed that the Redmi Note 8 will be available at a starting price of around Rs. 10,000 in India.
As the latest edition of Xiaomi Note series, Redmi Note 8 smartphone sports a gradient design, powerful mid-range Snapdragon chipset, four rear cameras, higher screen-to-body ratio, audio improvements and much more.
The Redmi Note 8 smartphone sports a large 6.3 inches FHD+(1080 x 2340 pixels) LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen size offers higher 81.7% screen-to-body ratio with thin bezels and sports a waterdrop-style notch.
If we talk about the software, the phone runs on the latest Android 9 (Pie) version based MIUI 10.
The Redmi Note 8 phone boasts a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 (11 nm) chipset which delivers you improved features like better camera performance, better security performance, and better gaming performance. The snapdragon 665 Soc uses Adreno 610 GPU to boost graphic performance.

The Redmi Note 8 sports additional two lenses for enhanced photography, one is the 8 MP wide-angle camera with f/2.4 aperture for stunning landscape shots, and another one is 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera with f/2.4 aperture lens.
