And the tale continues with game-maker Gameloft’s next release – Asphalt 9: Legend. The game, ninth in the Asphalt series, is already available for Android and iOS users. It features contemporary upgrades and better features than its predecessor, Asphalt 8.
Gameplay
Asphalt 9: Legend has touch-drive button controls, making it easier for users to play. While in the touch-drive mode, users just have to control two buttons – Brake and Nitro. While Brake lets users drive the car, Nitro on the right boosts car speed. Users also have the option to wreck other cars. To change the racing track, all users have to do is to swipe on the screen. The game contains a top-notch roster of real supercars, such as Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and W Motors.
There are different gameplay options in the game. These include My Career, Multiplayer, Daily Events, and My Club amongst others. Users can even create their own community in the My Club mode and unlock cards, credits, and cars from time to time. However, one can only add up to 20 members in it. In the Maps section, there are plenty of tracks to race around. Locations include Scotland, the Himalayas, America, and Shanghai turning the game into a more or less realistic one.
Graphics
Gameloft has raised the bar with Asphalt 9: Legend. The graphics are more lifelike as compared to other racing arcade games. Proof of the heavy graphics can be found in the size of the game, 1.5GB on Android and iOS. This, in turn, makes it difficult to run the game on lower-end smartphones with RAM capacity of 2GB or lower.
In-app Purchases
Asphalt 9: Legend also has plenty of in-app purchasing items, such as card packs, premium cars, credits, and coupons. However, the pricing has been kept within economical limits for all as compared to other games in the same segment.

Asphalt 9: Legend consists of 50 cars and 70 tracks. The game’s Career Mode features over 800 races. Users can also take on up to eight other challengers in real time in the Multiplayer Mode.
