Asus might need never thought of however well would the ZenFone Max Pro M1 fare within the smartphone market. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has garnered way more success than the other phones within the ZenFone series, and therefore the smartphone remains going robust in the market. It is, beyond question, one in all the best affordable smartphones with dual rear cameras, a huge battery, and ample quantity of RAM and storage. After many teasers and rumours, Asus has finally unveiled the two smartphones that it had been planning to launch in India. Asus has propelled two of its new most affordable smartphones, one of which was expected to be a successor to the ZenFone Max Pro M1. But the Taiwan tech giant has instead released the ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1 into the Indian market. The Asus Global First Launch in India witnessed the unveiling of these two smartphones in the entry level segment.

Both ZenFone Max M1 and ZenFone Lite L1 sport a single rear camera setup, pack in Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, and flaunt no notch displays. While the ZenFone Max M1 packs a bigger 4,000mAh battery and sports a fingerprint sensor at the rear, the ZenFone Lite L1 comes with a 3,000mAh battery and lacks a fingerprint sensor, and unlocks using Face Unlock feature. Available in two colour options to choose from, both the ZenFones support dual SIMs along with a microSD card at a time, all thanks to the dedicated microSD slot.

As per the specifications, the Asus ZenFone Max M1 flaunts a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display, therefore, lends a screen-to-body ratio of 82 percent. Powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, the ZenFone Max M1 packs in 3GB of RAM alongside 32GB of internal storage, with an option to expand the capacity via a microSD card of up to 256GB. The camera department is handled by a 13MP single rear sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. Over at the front, sits an 8MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and front LED flash, supporting beauty filters, portrait and HDR modes. The ZenFone Max M1 packs a 4,000mAh battery under the hood, that supports fast charging through the means of a 10W travel adapter.

On the other hand, the Asus ZenFone Lite L1 sports a similar 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, thereby, giving 82 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone is powered by the same chipset as the ZenFone Max M1, and packs in 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB of onboard storage, with expandability support via a microSD card of up to 256GB. Asus ZenFone Lite L1 features a similar 13MP rear sensor, as in the case of the ZenFone Max M1, but a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture, and LED flash support. The front camera also uses Face Unlock feature to secure the smartphone as it lacks a fingerprint sensor. As already mentioned, the ZenFone Lite L1 packs a smaller 3,000mAh battery, which should last almost a day on a single charge.

Both the smartphones run on Android Oreo out of the box, with Asus’s custom skin ZenUI 5.0 on the top.

Squaring up, the Asus ZenFone Max M1 has been priced at Rs 8,999 and will be available in Black and Gold colour options to choose from. Though, the smartphone is available at a bit lower introductory price of just Rs 7,499 through the festivity offer. And the Asus ZenFone Lite L1 has been priced at Rs 6,999 but will be available at an introductory offer price of Rs 5,999 during the festive season, in Black and Gold colour options. Not just that, the Flipkart exclusive smartphones will be up for sale soon during the Dhamaka Days, and consumers can also get other benefits with the purchase of any of the ZenFones, including a cashback of Rs 2,200 along with 50GB additional data for Jio subscribers, and also a overall mobile protection plan including theft protection for just Rs 99.
