More Honor to the smartphone market in India. This is how!

This year definitely belonged to Huawei and Honor with their whole set of smartphone launches in India. The Chinese phone maker is all set to launch a new budget smartphone under the Honor branding. The new device is called Honor 8C which debuted in China last month and features a notched display. The smartphone will launch in India on November 29 and will be an Amazon exclusive.

The new smartphone will succeed Honor 7C which launched six months back this year. Honor 8C will be the first ever smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core chipset along with Adreno 506 GPU. The device flaunts a 6.26-inch HD+ Full View TFT IPS display panel with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. The 2.5D display comes with an Eye Care Mode so that it doesn’t strain your eyes. Honor 8C packs 4GB of RAM, coupled with 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage expandable via a microSD card of up to 256GB. The camera department is take care of by a vertically stacked dual rear camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The front camera is an 8MP selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Honor 8C is fueled up by a 4,000mAh huge battery to last two days on a single charge with 10W charging adapter.

Talking about the price, Honor 8C was launched in China at CNY 1,099 (around Rs 11,200) for the 4GB RAM and 32GB storage variant, and CNY 1,399 (around Rs 14,200) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option. Honor 8C will be launched in India on November 29, and will be up for sale via Amazon.in with launch benefits from Jio offering 100GB additional 4G data alongside Rs 4,450 worth of cashback in the form of vouchers. Honor 8C will be available in four gradient colours if the Chinese variants are taken into consideration, including Aurora Blue, Nebula Purple, Platinum Gold, and Magic Night Black.
