Xiaomi recently unveiled a new Quartz Smartwatch in china under its Mijia platform. The watch is basically a hybrid amalgamation of classic analog looks with smartwatch capabilities, and is priced at CNY 349 (approximately Rs 3,500). The smartwatch will go on sale on July 17 in China via Mi Home stores, Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Youpin, and Xiaomi Tmall Flagship Store.
Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch Details and Specifications
The smart watch comes boasts a 40mm dial with a classic analog like shape, and has a 3.2mm thickness at the edges. The watch comes in White, Grey and Black colour options with replaceable leather straps. It uses Bluetooth 4.0 to pair up with a dedicated app to automatically call, set time and alarms. You can set up to 10 alarm reminders on the watch. The watch vibrates silently without any ringing, to avoid ambient noise and surrounding disturbances.
The Xiaomi Mijia Quartz weigh around about 42 grams and can be paired over Bluetooth with the smartphone running on Android 4.4 KitKat or above and iOS 7.0 or above. The watch can measure calorie intake and steps taken, and the data can be seen on the smartphone. There is also a VIP call feature available, but it only works with MIUI 9 and IOS 9 or above. The smartwatch comes with a tough body and is water resistant up to 30 metres, and it runs on CR2430 battery.
