This is the most convenient way to download photos from Instagram if you don’t want to use any extra app or jailbreak your iPhone. The process is a bit tricky but it works flawlessly.
- First, you have to open Instagram and open the photo you want to download
- Now tap on the three dots in the top right corner of your iPhone
- Now choose and tap on the “Copy Share URL”
- Open Safari on your iPhone and paste the copied URL and open it
- Now the photo will show up on your screen
- Copy the photo
- Now tap on Notes and open a new note
- Long press and paste the photo in your note
- Now tap on “Share” button on the top right side of your screen
- Click on “Save Image”
- You have successfully saved your favourite Instagram photo on your iPhone.
2. Download using Apps
If you are having issues with the first process then you can download photos use this process. There are many apps available on the App store for downloading pictures from Instagram.
- Download and install any Instagram photo downloader app you want from App Store
- Open the app and then login with your Instagram account details inside the app.
- Now your Instagram profile will load inside that app.
- Open any photo you want to download.
- Either there will be a download icon placed or you may have to download it by tapping the three dots placed on the top or bottom right corner of your screen.
- Tap on Save Image and your picture will be available on your Camera Roll
3. Download using Websites
Sometimes the apps you are installing may collect your private information. If you are a person who takes these things seriously then you may want to drop the idea to download Instagram photos using apps. There’s a different and a very easy way to download the Instagram photos from using websites. So let’s see how to do it.
- First, open Instagram and navigate to the photo you want to download
- Tap on the three buttons on the top right corner of your screen
- Tap on “Copy Share URL”
- Now open Safari and open www.dinsta.com
- Paste the URL on the box with a caption “Paste Instagram URL”
- Tap on Go and it will then reload the page
- Now you will get an option “Download”
- Tap on Download and save the image
4. Bonus Tip
If you are in a hurry to download an Instagram photo then just take a screenshot and crop it. To take a screenshot on an iPhone you just have to press the Power button and Home button at the same time. You can also take screenshot on private Instagram accounts so downloading photos from private accounts is not a problem here.
