Snapchat was the first in the industry to start the “Stories” trend. Steps to Hide Stories in Messenger
Messenger app doesn’t show the option directly to hide the “My Day” updates from everyone but there’s an easy way to do this. Just follow the steps given below.
- First, open Messenger app and then tap on the Profile icon on the top-right side of the app.
- Now scroll a bit and you will find the “Story” option. Tap on “Story” and it will open the stories settings.
- By default, your friends are able to see your stories. But here you want to hide your stories for everyone. To do this tap on “Custom” option and then tap on “Change”.
- Now messenger will show you the friends list with whom you want to share your stories. Don’t select anything there and tap on the “back button”.
- Tap on “OK” and now you have successfully hidden the “My Day” stories.
- If you want to go back to the previous state then tap on “Friends Only” and then tap on “Change”.
