YouTube Gaming App Stream
To compete with Twitch, YouTube launched their gaming website and they have also launched an app called “YouTube Gaming” which is available on Google Play Store. Using this app not only you can track your favorite gamers daily but also it allows you to stream your mobile games directly on YouTube. Now follow the step by step process to know how to do it.
- First, download the YouTube Gaming app from Play Store.
- Then install the app and open it. Tap on Press Start.
- The app will then show all your Google accounts along with your Youtube Channel names. Sign in using your Google account.
- The app will then suggest you to follow some popular games. Follow your favorite games and you are ready to enter the app.
- Once you are inside the app, tap on the arrow icon placed on the top right side.
- It will then open a new page called Mobile Capture. Tap on Next and then you will see two options Stream and Record. By default the Stream is selected.
- You can stream your videos in 720p and 480p video formats. If you have a good WiFi connection then go for 720p.
- While streaming your in-game mobile sounds will be captured as well as all the video footage will be shown to the public. So make sure you turn on DND mode before you start streaming.
- Now tap on Next and it will tell you to select your game.
- When you are ready with your game tap on Start Now.
- The app will now show the Stream Info page. Add a catchy title and a good description and then hit Next.
- Next page will show the streaming link which you can share within your social media platforms to gain quick views.
- The game will now open with YouTube Gaming app’s overlay. It will help you to stream the footage.

- Now if you want to record the footage and then upload it then in the Step-6 tap on Record and a tiny red dot will appear at the bottom-left corner with your front camera footage.
- To open the menu tap on the front camera overlay and it will open all the options. You can start/stop the front camera footage, start/stop the microphone, pause the steaming and also stop the steaming.
- When you have successfully recorded the video you will be redirected to the app where you can set the video title, add the description, add a filter. You can also crop the video length.
- When you are happy with all the things, tap on Send and your video will be uploaded.
- If you want to switch your accounts you can always do that by tapping on Switching Accounts.
