Xiaomi offers a lot of smart devices other than smartphones. We do not know about them much since they are not launched here in India. However, things are set to change as Xiaomi is expected to launch various smart devices in India very soon.

The Mi Smart devices which are expected to launch in India are mentioned below.

Mi Portable Mouse

It weighs just 77.5 grams including battery. It has an anodized aluminium alloy shell and is compatible with 95% of surface types for increased accuracy. The portable mouse works via Bluetooth/2.4G dual mode. It can be connected with two computers simultaneously and easily toggle between connections by pressing the bottom button. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1000 in India.

Mi Water Purifier

The new water purifier retains most of the same design language. Its more rectangular now compared to the original one. The purifier has a tank free design. For this reason it has a fast water output system. The system has an intelligent self-flush mechanism that ensures that the internal pipes are clean. The filter unit has a high threshold 550 gallon certified filter. By using a 0.0001 micro-meter porous membrane they have achieved a 30% large filter surface area while simultaneously increasing water output rate. There is a five stage filtration process that can remove rust, scale, heavy metals, residual chlorine, impurities, etc. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 13,000 in India.

Mi LED Desk Lamp

It is specially designed to reduce flickering which causes fatigue and other harmful effects on the eyes. You can adjust the color temperature and brightness according to your needs, or there are also 4 preset lighting modes that cater to different scenarios and user requirements. All these features are housed in a simple, elegant, and beautiful metal casing that is extremely durable and designed to precision. You can adjust brightness and color temperature. Also, set different lighting modes. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 2,500 in India.

Mi Smart Band 4

Unlike last year’s tracker, which offered a 0.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 80 x 128 pixels, the new Mi Band 4 instead brings a 0.95-inch color AMOLED display with a resolution of 120 x 240 pixels. The touchscreen comes with 77 different faces to pick between, and also comes with a built-in microphone to enable voice commands (and control compatible devices) and a six-axis accelerometer to aid tracking accuracy. That tracking includes exercise modes for running and cycling, as well as waterproof protection up to 5ATM (around 50 metres). It is expected to start around Rs. 1,800 in India.

Mi Smart Plug

Mi Smart Plug is a great nifty accessory for a smart home. This gadget can offer simple, smart functionality to any electrical product connected to it. With the Mi Smart Plug and the Mi Home app, you can control a household appliance from anywhere, and schedule it to turn on or off automatically. These plugs are cheap, don’t require a dedicated hub, and you can be used with Google Assistant too. It is expected to be around Rs. 1,000 in India.

Mi Robot Builder

The Xiaomi Mi Robot Builder is available in two variants, one is a robot with self-balancing system and the other is a rover. It has a self-balancing system and comes with wireless smartphone control feature. It is a modular coding toy that can be assembled into different structures using 978 toy blocks along with other parts like wheels, hears, and chains. Mi Robot Builder uses two high-speed brushless motors with rotating speed up to 170rpm and rotating torque capacity up to 25N.cm. To help the robot to accurately determine the speed and direction, the motor has built-in photoelectric encoder which also puts the motor into idle mode when it is stalled to prevent motor from overstraining. It also comes with four USB Type-C ports and the battery life is claimed to be up to 12 hours.

Users will be able to connect the Mi Robot Builder to the app via Bluetooth and watch it come to life. It is expected to be around Rs. 6,000 in India.

Ninebot Mini

Xiaomi’s Ninebot Mini is a two-wheeled electric vehicle. It battery-powered and self-balancing. The mini scooter has been developed with Ninebot, a Chinese transportation robotics firm. Ninebot also own Segway, a company that is synonymous with two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles. The Ninebot Mini has been built using aerospace-grade magnesium alloy and weighs about 12.8 kg. Vehicle can move at a speed of 16km/hr and can travel for about 22 km on a single charge. It can also ride up a 15 degree hills. Users can also upgrade the firmware, monitor speed, traffic data, and systems via their smartphones. The Ninebot Mini will be available in Black and White variants. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 20,000 in India.

Mi Motion-Activated Night Light

The Mi Motion-activated night light is a wide sensing range of lights up the darkest corners and lets you enjoy 365 nights of energy efficient and soft illumination. It has a wide 120° sensing area with a 5-7 meter detection range. Using an advanced light sensor + infrared motion detection technology, it automatically activates during night time hours so that even in darkness, it captures your every move. The light automatically shuts off 15 seconds after motion stops. An additional feature preventing infrared interference means that wherever you go, the light stays with you. The back of the Mi Motion-Activated Night Light features a convenient 3M adhesive, allowing it to be mounted anywhere and freeing you from the constraints of sockets. Whether it’s a closet, locker, doorway or garage, on a stairwell or underneath the bed, it can go anywhere. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 1,000 in India.

Xiaomi is already selling a lot of accessories in India, which includes power banks, smart shoes, backpacks, luggage and many more. It would be great to have more Mi Smart devices in India very soon.
