We are more than glad to share a proud moment. Our co-founder Ankita Jain has been bestowed with the Young Innovators Creating a Better World for All award by the prestigious Women Economic Forum (WEF). It is a global conference which stimulates empowering conversations between women from all walks of life. WEF also provides a platform for young and bold female entrepreneurs to engage with each other and promote businesses globally. The conference hosts around 1,000 speakers and 2,000 delegates from 120 countries across the world.
“I come from the city of diamonds, Surat where I was raised to be a decent house-maker. Although my genes turned up with a twist and I chose to become an RJ and now an entrepreneur”, exclaimed Ankita.
Ankita added that a lot of what she has achieved today wouldn’t have been possible without the support of her family and in particular her partner and co-founder of GoPaisa – Aman Jain.
Ankita went on to add that the platform has registered 2.5 million users with more than 1,000 associated brands. Recounting her initial days in the industry, she added that it was a humongous task convincing people about the model and how she was not taken seriously just because she was 23.
