Book Fair in Delhi

To some people, a place filled with books is heaven. It really is. Books are those meaningless persons in today’s world that ask for nothing, but in return simply give everything to you.

We always thought books were the best thing that have happened to us, but people, book fairs have that godly element in them. Book fairs are that beautiful thing, we always crave for.  Indian Trade Promotion Organization is organising its 23rd book fair from 26th Aug- 3rd September 2017.  ITPO believes that reading is a wonderful habit, and hopes to make people realise that pen is indeed mightier than sword. This book fair offers wide variety of books, be it Children’s book or those who touch the very essence of socio-politico movements embedding in India.  This windfall of books is eagerly awaited by avid readers, intellectuals, students and many more.  One of the best parts about this fair is that, it certainly covers all kinds of genres. So, if you are wishing to give your Granny a gift, be affirmed with a religious book.  

Are you one of those worried parents, who are trying to inculcate reading as a habit? If this is your case, books for children aren’t going to be a problem.  From fairies to goblin to books having audio-visual story, this fair has something for all budding wizards!

How exciting it is to venture for a blind date? And imagine, your blind date is with a book this time. Trust me, it is possible. An organisation named Book Chor is bringing something fun; these spirited individuals will cover a book with wrapper and will give you a faint idea about what the book is majorly about.  Apart from this exciting thing, fair is dotted with a number of books in foreign languages too. Quite a number of books are available at this fair so many can learn the basics of a new language.

To reach Pragati Maidan, you can either take a metro to Pragati Maidan Metro station and from there; you can take an auto-rickshaw or surely can walk. All those who are willing to get their own vehicle can park it in the authorised Bhairav Mandir parking lot which is opposite to Gate 1 of Pragati Maidan.
