One of the biggest e-commerce giants, Flipkart, is all set to host Big Shopping Day Sale which begins from July 16 at 4 PM. With this Big Shopping Day sale, Flipkart seems to compete with its rival Amazon India, which is hosting Prime Day Sale on the same day at 12 noon. However, not like Amazon 36 hours sale, the Big Shopping Day Sale will continue for 80 hours, until 19th July.
The big discounts and offers are expected to roll out on varied products across categories during the Big Shopping Days Sale on Flipkart. To make the sale more engaging, Flipkart has partnered with State Bank of India to present purchasers with an instant discount of up to 10%. For this, users have to shop using via SBI credit card. Also, there will be no cost EMI option from Bajaj Finserv.
Users can expect ‘blockbuster deals’, that will get refreshed after every 8 hours, on plenty of products across categories. From the advertised infographic on the Flipkart official website, one can guess price drops in every 8 hours on products. Additionally, Flipkart is predicted to hold ‘rush hour deals’ where deals seem to be available for one time only. For this, Flipkart has allocated a separate time slot (between 4 PM and 6 PM) on 16th July. Also, there will be some products on discount for the first time where users can expect to see “price drops like never before”.
On the other hand, Amazon Prime Day Sale claims to be bigger this year than the previous sale. This exclusive sale for prime subscriber will be live for 36 hours, unlike last year, which was for only 24 hours. According to the e-commerce giant, Amazon India, this year Prime Day will launch more than 200 new products from top brands. Including the long-awaited One Plus 6 Red smartphone and 8th generation Intel Inside gaming laptop. Additionally, the Amazon exclusive products such as Amazon Echo, FireTv Stick, and Kindle, will be available at the lowest price of the year.
Amazon India has partnered with HDFC bank for Prime Day Sale to offer an instant discount of 10% to HDFC bank card holders. Furthermore, users who pay using Amazon Pay will receive 10% cashback on their purchases.
The important point to be noted Amazon Prime Day Sale is exclusive to the Prime members while the Flipkart Sale is open to all, until further update.
