Looks like Samsung users may finally get to see the latest offering from the South Korean technology giant sooner than expected. According to invites being sent out to various bloggers, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be launched on August 9, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9, successor to the highly successful Galaxy Note 8, will purportedly carry a large 4,000mAh battery along with an 6.3inch 18.5:9 ratio display screen with an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 would also probably feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9820 processor at the centre.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Indian Price and Availability

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could be priced at $950 (Rs 66,000) if industry sources are anything to go by. It is a well known fact that Samsung usually launches devices globally on the same day. It can therefore be assumed that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will make its India debut on August 9, 2018.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Expected Specifications

According to a report on PhoneArena website, FCC has certified two Samsung Galaxy Note 9 variants  – SM-N960F/DS and SM-N960X, which implies that two different variants (each for the US and Asian markets) might be in the offing.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could feature a 6.3 inch super AMOLED display, with QHD+ (2960x1440p) support. The Galaxy Note 9 may come in two RAM variants – 6GB and 8GB with 64GB and 128GB internal storage options respectively. The battery on board the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, as stated above, might be a 4,000mAh one with fast charging support.

It is also rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could feature an in-display fingerprint sensor developed by Synaptics and an iris scanner (akin to its predecessor the Galaxy Note 8).
