Moto phones have always lived up to its standards and delivered some of the best smartphones in different price range. Ever since its acquisition by Lenovo, Moto phones have come in different variations and specs. The first quarter of 2018 has already seen some amazing Moto phones like Moto Z3 Play, Moto G6, G6 Play, G6 Plus, Moto E5 and E5 Plus. Somehow, Moto G phones has always remained the best bait for Motorola since its release in the year 2013. The G6 Play is the most affordable in the bunch with remarkable outputs.

The new phones that are slated to release this year boasts modern design with improved specs. The phones to look for from the Motorola house are Moto Z3, Moto X5 and Moto One, and One Power.

Moto Z3

The buzz is this going to be Motorola’s most premium and sophisticated phone till date. It will have some knockout features including hardware and is going to be a flagship phone for Motorola. Since Motorola phones mostly comes in two variations, we believe this will be the same case for Moto Z3. It will have a 6inch display and near bezel less screen with FHD+ display. The aspect ratio of this phone will be 18:9 with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440. The edges will have rounded corners and an all metal body with glass covering. In continuation with other Moto Z phones this too won’t have any headphone jack. The design does guarantee a fingerprint scanner which also doubles as power button and is ostensibly huge.

Moto Z3 will probably be compatible with 5G networks and is definitely a future phone. There is still speculation about the processor of this handset but experts believe it is going to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, which is a choice for high-end flagship models in 2018. In all likelihood, the specs of Moto Z3 will surpass Moto Z3 Play. When it comes to camera, the Z3 Play does an average job but with a flagship model like Z3 we guess Motorola will up the ante by beefing up the camera specification and results. We still do not know if this will be an Android One phone.

Moto X5

The X series phones form Motorola have proven track record of being robust in design and output and perhaps a better choice if you are not game for Moto Mods. The Moto X5 will have a similar appeal like X4 but will have several revved-up features. The Moto X5 will continue the tradition of slim bezel and tall design pattern. And the all new rage of a top-notch has caught up this phone too. The handset will be a 5.9-inches screen with FHD+ display. The phone will sport dual cameras in the back and front, and will have Moto Smart AI. The body will be aluminum with glass back in front and back. The primary camera will be a 12MP + 8MP shooter and the selfie has a 16MP + 8MP shooter. It seems the phone will be big on selfie game and perhaps it will one of its USPs. The phone will have USB ON-The-Go and we are not clear enough about what it all means. This will also come with Android One and mostly users will get a vanilla Android experience.

Moto One/ One Power

This model is full of surprises in the sense Motorola has never designed a phone like this. It wasn’t until late June that the buzz started around Moto One and One Power. It is nothing like the rest of the handsets Motorola has released so far in 2018. To begin with, Motorola has followed in the footsteps of iPhone and this handset will come with a big notch on the top. We do not know yet if it is removable. The Moto One handset will be a glass unibody design, something the smartphone brand has never done before. The Moto One Power however will have a metal body. The back will have vertical dual cameras with LED flash with the Moto logo engraved in the middle. The Android One branding in the lower of the phone means this is going to be the first Motorola handsets and will duly receive its updates and security patches. The company is also changing its ‘Motorola’ branding and wait till you get the phone in hand.

There are rumors around what the specs for these phones could be. It seems the handsets will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It will also have a meaty 3,780 battery and NFC support for Google Play. The dual cameras on back will have a 16MP primary shooter and a 5MP secondary shooter with aperture size f/1.5 and f/1.9 respectively. The selfie camera will have a 16MP shooter with aperture size 1.9.

There is lot of speculation about release dates but there we still do not know when these phones will be launched. The buzz is in coming four months Motorola will announce its unleashing date.
