Asus might have never thought of how well would the ZenFone Max Pro M1 fare in the smartphone market. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 has garnered much more success than the other phones in the ZenFone series, and the smartphone is still going strong in the market. It is, undoubtedly, one of the best affordable smartphones with dual rear cameras, a massive battery, and ample amount of RAM and storage. Now, the Taiwan-based conglomerate, Asus, has invited the media, on October 17 in New Delhi, to witness yet another ZenFone which is expected to break all the records. As Diwali festive season is round the corner, Asus has played their cards well to announce its latest ZenFone into the Indian market. While no details have been revealed about the new smartphone, we suspect that it should succeed the ZenFone Max Pro M1, and could be called the ZenFone Max Pro M2.

Asus has been stiff in keeping the curtains over the new ZenFone, thus, no design leaks or specification details have yet been teased by the tech giant. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is one smartphone with up to 6GB of RAM and a dual rear camera setup under Rs 15,000. This time around Asus might be aiming for the Diwali festive sale as the first round of online festive sales has just ended. The ZenFone Max Pro M1 was a huge success when it was launched and even during the festive sales, the smartphone got a massive response.

Back in April, Asus launched the ZenFone Max Pro M1 with having sold more than a million units in just 6 months. With several smartphones coming up with 8GB of RAM like the recent affordable Realme 2 Pro, Asus might have to think of offering 8GB RAM in the budget segment. As mentioned, the ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, priced at Rs 14,999 on Flipkart.

While we expect the “latest ZenFone” to be a successor to the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, we will get to see the smartphone launch along with another ZenFone as the invite indicates at “launching 2 new smartphones”. Though, we expect the ZenFone Max Pro M1 successor to come with a notch display, rather than an 18:9 aspect ratio in its predecessor. The smartphone could also feature the dual rear camera setup, a fingerprint sensor at the back, and the 5,000mAh 2-day battery as the ZenFone Max Pro M1. The Asus Global First launch in India will be held on October 17 at 1:30pm IST and the “Whatte Powerhouse” smartphones will be exclusively available at Flipkart’s shopping portal, as per the post shared by Asus on their Twitter handle.
