Leading handset manufacturer Xiaomi launched the Redmi 6 Pro smartphone on june 24, 2018. The device comes with a 19:9 display and is priced at CNY 999 (Rs 10,400). The Qualcomm-powered device features an iPhone X-like notch, dual rear cameras, AI beautification and an octa-core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro comes in three variants: 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM, and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM.
The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is also equipped with a 4,000mAh Li-polymer battery and sensors, such as gyroscope, proximity sensor, magnetic sensor amongst others. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 clocked acts as a pillar for its 4,000mAh battery. The Snapdragon 625 generates a 2.0GHz clock speed which, as per the company, is more than enough to handle complex tasks. Xiaomi also claims that the in-built Adreno 506 with SOC increases its gaming performance as well as user experience.

As per latest rumours, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro will be launched in India within two months at approximately Rs 13,000 along with the Redmi 6A and Redmi 6.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro sports a MIUI 9 based on Android 8 Oreo. As per the company, the MIUI is one of the best custom ROMs available in the industry due to its flawless performance.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is available in three memory variants: 3GB + 32GB, 4GB+32GB, and 4GB+64GB. The smartphone comes with dual-SIM and a dedicated memory card slot, which allows you to expand the memory space on the device.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 – an octa-core core processor made on Cortex A53 architecture and 14nm process. The Snapdragon 625 was launched two years back, but is still considered one of the well balanced processors available in the market as per industry pundits.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro sports a dual 12 MP+5MP camera setup at the back with an aperture of f/2.2. The camera setup comes with AI beautification, Portrait mode, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) and an LED flashlight. At the front of the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is a 5MP sensor that allows users to capture better selfies with the AI Portrait mode.

The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro features a 5.84-inch full HD+ (1080×2280 pixel) resolution display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The company has also introduced an iPhone X-like notch which is a first in this segment. At the back, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is pretty similar to its predecessor, the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Pro.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is powered by a 4,000mAh lithium-polymer battery. As per Xiaomi, it is enough to power the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro for 24 hours on a single charge.
